My name is Eric Stevens and we own two properties on Prien Lake in Calcasieu Parish. Hurricane Laura and Hurricane Delta came ashore in August and September of 2020. Each property had a permanent dock and both were completely destroyed during these storms. Immediately following the storms I hired Louisiana Marine Construction to rebuild both docks_ Each project was substantial in that the existing damaged structures had to be removed including all pilings, deck boards, and roofs. Louisiana Marine Construction began work shortly after the storms and quickly and efficiently removed all the damaged decking and pilings and roof materials. They were able to secure work barges and pile drivers and all manner of materials and labor very soon after the storm. They began work on the 3222 Henderson Bayou Rd location first and completed this initial job in several months. The 4400 West Prien Lake road location was 2" as this project required a 100% complete removal of the existing structure and a redesign and rebuild of the entire dock including pilings, decking, roofing, plumbing, electrical, boat lifts, and cabinetry. The work was completed on budget and on time and was very professional. These were not small projects so I can say with a great deal of confidence I would recommend Louisiana Marine Construction for your dock or bulkhead project.
